Poundcups are our gourmet cupcakes that are bigger and grander than the ordinary cupcake. Since we specialize in pound cake we naturally decided to name them poundcups.

Please check out our Sweet Selections page for all of our flavors. Almost all of our cake flavors listed there can be used to make your custom cake. Our custom cakes are frosted and filled with our silky buttercream that also comes in a variety of flavors. Want to create something new? Please feel free to ask. We are always up for a challenge!

Yes. We offer cake tastings for new clients purchasing a custom cake serving 50 people or more or costing $100 or more. This free, 1 hour tasting, is for up to four people and includes your choice of up to three flavors to sample. This is an excellent opportunity for you to share your ideas for your cake. We ask that you bring a design package with you when you come. This package can include pictures, your invitation, color swatches, etc. to help us create a design that compliments your event and is totally you. At this cake tasting, if you decide to go forward with us, you will be asked to leave a 50% deposit to secure your event date on our calendar. If you should need to reschedule, or cancel your tasting, we ask that you contact us at least 2 days in advance. We also offer Cake Tasting Plates which are available for purchase at $10 each.

All balances must be paid in full one week prior to your event.

Yes! We offer our bundt cakes and round cakes in several sizes to accommodate small parties. You can also order a small custom cake.

Smaller items like poundcups and our specialty cookies are baked in batches. Minimum amounts on these items ensure that you get the best value for your money.

Two weeks is usually enough notice for custom cakes, with the exception of wedding cakes, which are generally booked 2 to 4 months in advance. If your event is in less than two weeks you can still feel free to contact us. We will do our best to accommodate your order.

Yes. There are no nuts in our baked goods unless it is specifically stated in the description. However, we are not a nut-free bakery. Because we bake everything in one location, for your safety, please be aware that there is always a slight possibility of our baked goods coming in contact with nuts. If you have any allergies, please feel free to let us know and we will do whatever we can to accommodate you.

Yes. We deliver within the Raleigh area for orders over $50 depending on our availability. The charge is $10 for delivery and $25 for delivery and set up. For delivery outside of the Raleigh area, please contact us for pricing.

Yes! Our Junior Bundt cake also known as “The Get Together” is available for shipping. We will ship it via the U.S.P.S. Two-Day Priority mail.
